Kristen is a LGPC working under the supervision of Whitney Thompson. As a clinical therapist, Kristen believes everyone is unique. She is devoted to crafting a therapeutic process shaped to individual needs. Kristen also values a warm, supportive environment to promote openness and honesty.
Kristen’s past work has spanned diverse cultural backgrounds and age populations. Her clinical experience has included trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders, as well as concerns surrounding life changes and challenges. Kristen often utilizes cognitive behavior therapy and client centered approaches to achieve clients’ goals.
Kristen is from West Virginia, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Wheeling Jesuit University. She extended her education at Loyola University Maryland and earned her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. Kristen recognizes her learning and knowledge as important to being a successful therapist. She strives to stay up to date on developments in psychology and therapy interventions to most benefit her clients.
