Jennifer is an LCSW-C and our Clinical Supervisor at the Ellicott City office. Jennifer works with children, adolescents, and adults with mild to severe mental health diagnoses. In her undergraduate education, Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Salisbury University. Jennifer then went on to earn her Masters of Social Work from The University of Maryland, Baltimore. Despite moving back to the Baltimore area, Jennifer continues to practice her self care at the beach! Jennifer believes in building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a safe place for her clients to process and grow.
Jennifer has experience in school based settings providing special education and related services to children with autism, developmental delays, severe behavioral problems, and other related disorders. Jennifer applied and implemented strict Individualized Educational Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans to provide a supportive, adaptive, and structured learning environment for students.
Jennifer has several years of experience working with medically fragile children and adolescents from birth to 21 years old. Jennifer has worked with children diagnosed with medical conditions ranging from mild pre-natal drug exposure to more complex conditions, such as seizure disorders, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, reactive airway disease, HIV/AIDs, gastrostomy tube dependence, and ventilator dependence.
Jennifer also has several years of experience working with children placed in foster care, foster families, and birth families.
Jennifer strives to motivate and empower her clients to set and achieve their identified goals. She believes in a holistic health approach, focusing on balance and stability of the mind, body, spirit, and emotions. Jennifer provides client education and insight in order to guide lifestyle changes and self-care to promote wellness.
Jennifer is in the office on Monday through Thursday.
